Christmas cards

A few cards I made as samples for a workshop with some WI ladies last month................

Lovely as a tree large stamp as leaves, holiday ornaments stamp gold embossed and cut out.  We also did this using gilding flakes - fab result, these baubles look stunning gilded on black card!
Holiday frame embossing folder on whisper white, matted onto gold , cherry cobbler base card. Bauble was die cut from gold mirri card then run through the lacy brocade embossing folder before mounting with dimensionals and adding a red bow.
Sorry for poor photo, scan on right even worse, but does at least show the embossing better.
My Big shot was working overtime with these two cards, many of the ladies had never used one before, but they all soon got the hang of it.
Calendar card used the woodgrain embossing folder and the bird punch (was going to use the owl punch, then couldn't find it)- borrowed the idea of cutting up the folder to make the tree from another blog, can't remember whose now - if you know, tell me and will add the link!

The snowflake die only arrived the evening before, so this was a very quick card with framelits- didn't realise I hadn't glued the snowflake on straight until I saw the photo.
Last card used the Beautiful season set with a framelit and the lacy brocade folder again.
Apologies for all the white space, can't get rid of it despite several tries.................
